ASHLAND, Ore. – After the No. 3-seeded College of Idaho Yotes and the No. 4-seeded Corban Warriors each earned straight-set victories in their respective Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Semifinal matches, the field is now set for the CCC Tournament Finals, presented by U.S. Bank and hosted by Southern Oregon. All four teams competing in the tournament are ranked in the NAIA Top-25, ensuring the four-way battle for conference superiority will be a fierce one.

For an in-depth look at tournament match-ups and results, follow along at TOURNAMENT CENTRAL.

#2 Eastern Oregon vs. #3 College of Idaho

Set to take place at 3:30 p.m., Friday’s first matchup features a couple of the CCC’s longstanding giants. When the two teams met this season, No. 12-ranked Eastern Oregon claimed the first match of the year in four sets; but most recently, No. 16-ranked College of Idaho spoiled the Mountaineer’s senior night, winning a five-set thriller in La Grande. In a battle between two of the country’s most acclaimed coaches—Kaki McLean Morehead (in her 12th year at EOU) and Liz Mendiola (in her 18th year at C of I)—this contest will surely be fun to watch.

#1 Southern Oregon vs. #4 Corban

Another interesting dual, No. 10-ranked Southern Oregon will have the luxury of playing at home for the entirety of the CCC Tournament Finals, with the Raiders having already earned the CCC’s first automatic berth to the NAIA National Tournament. No. 22-ranked Corban will assuredly be hungry to defend its CCC Tournament Title from last year, however, and the Warriors are coming off a recent straight-set triumph over the Raiders, resulting in a season split between the two squads.

If the Raiders defeat the Warriors and advance to the championship match, then the winner of Friday’s first game between Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho will receive the conference’s second automatic qualifier to the NAIA National Tournament.

Below is a complete look at the remainder of the 2018 CCC Volleyball Tournament schedule.
