The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period December 3-9.
Men’s Wrestling
Eastern Oregon’s Jacob Dupuis has been named the Red Lion men’s Wrestler of the Week.
Dupuis, a senior out of Bend, Ore., led (RV) Eastern Oregon to a pair of dual victories, posting back-to-back pins over the weekend. Facing off against CCC-rival Warner Pacific, Dupuis defeated his opponent in less than a minute, while earning another pin on the following day against Southwest Oregon Community College’s Ryan Beck at the Clackamas Duals.

Men’s Basketball
Multnomah’s Justin Martin has been chosen as the Red Lion men’s basketball Player of the Week.
Unsurprisingly, Martin brings home this week’s Player of the Week hardware after his NAIA record-setting performance against Warner Pacific. The junior guard from Spokane, Wash. set a new NAIA Division 2 scoring record with his 71-point performance in the Lions’ win over the Knights, including a 15-for-19 effort from downtown. Not only that, but Martin sank the game-winning floater in the contest’s final moments, clinching Multnomah’s first-ever victory over a NAIA Division 2 Top-25 ranked opponent. In the team’s following game, Martin notched 19 more points to help seal a dominating victory over West Coast Baptist.

Women’s Basketball
Madison Holly of College of Idaho has been selected as the Red Lion women’s basketball Player of the Week.
Holly, hailing from Nampa, Idaho, came up clutch when the Yotes needed her most against NCAA Division 3 opponent Lewis & Clark. The senior guard sank two key fourth-quarter baskets to break a 59-59 deadlock, helping deliver a College of Idaho victory. In total, Holly finished the night with 19 points, five boards, and a pair of assists, shooting 70% from the field and going 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.
