ASHLAND – Southern Oregon's recent shooting issues have been at least temporary solved by some home cooking at Lithia Motors Pavilion.

The 13th-ranked Raiders hit triple digits in the scoring column in back-to-back games for the first time in 25 seasons, completing a weekend Cascade Conference sweep Saturday with a 106-71 drubbing of Evergreen (Wash.). After shooting a season-high 57 percent in Friday's 100-89 defeat of Northwest (Wash.), they connected at a 58-percent clip (41-of-71) against the Geoducks to run their record to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in the CCC.

Junior forward Jordan Hunt recorded his second double-double of the week with 18 points and 13 rebounds and blocked four shots for the third consecutive game, and freshman guard Jake Virga hit double figures for the first time in his career with 17 points and four 3-pointers off the bench.

The Raiders took a 51-41 lead into the break and opened the second half with an 18-2 spurt that lasted four minutes, keyed by a pair of Virga triples in transition.

Three more freshmen – Teron Bradford and Kiefer Edwards and Tez Allen – were similarly productive. Bradford totaled 13 points, six assists and four steals; Edwards connected on all four of his field-goal attempts for nine points and three rebounds; and Allen went for six points and five assists.

Tristen Holmes added 13 points and seven assists, while Tate Hoffman had 13 points, four assists, three steals and two blocks.

The Raiders went 20-of-31 overall in the second half and 10-of-27 from behind the 3-point arc in the game.

Evergreen fell to 4-8 and 0-4 despite shooting 10-of-18 from 3. Dalton Groenwold had 17 points and nine rebounds, and Mana Niu scored 12 off the bench.

The Raiders have scored at least 100 four times this season.
