PORTLAND, Ore. – Senior guard Payton Parrish tied a program record with 42 points on 13-for-20 shooting, while hitting a Cascade Collegiate Conference and EOU record with 11 three-pointers to lead the Mountaineers to their 18th-straight win in a row.

"Payton was on fire tonight, and I am so excited for her," said head coach Anji Weissenfluh. "Christie Weaver's record stood for over 12 years and I think it will be a long time before Payton's is broken. Payton had to knock down some tough shots down the stretch. She is an amazing shooter and that was on display tonight. I could not be happier for her."

Parrish broke the program record for three's, previously held by Christie Weaver, who made 10 three pointers on Oct. 29, 2005.

The No. 6 Mounties also scored a season-high 118 points, while hitting their second-highest number of three-pointers in both program and Cascade Collegiate Conference history with 21. The Blue and Gold hold the conference record for most three-pointers made in a game after hitting 25 earlier this season.

It was an amazing night for the No. 6 Mounties (24-2, 17-0 CCC), as they dominated Warner Pacific (10-17, 6-10 CCC) from start to finish. The Mountaineers got the lead 17 seconds into the game and never lost it. Parrish led the Mounties in the first half with 20 points and shattered her previous career-high of 28 points.

The second half was no different as the Mounties kept on dominating and Parrish kept draining three-pointers. Parrish ended the game with the program-high 42 points, while senior guard Maya Ah You-Dias scored 23 and senior forward Stormee Van Belle added 20 points with nine rebounds and dropped 10 dimes. Van Belle missed the triple-double by one rebound.

The Blue and Gold will be competing against Multnomah in Portland, Oregon Saturday night, trying to follow Friday's amazing performance with their 19th-straight win. The game will start at 5:30 p.m.
