ASHLAND – Remi Mejia put her entire arsenal on display during her Senior Night, driving 10th-ranked Southern Oregon to an 86-65 win over Corban with a career-high 31 points Saturday at Mountain Avenue Gym.

Mixing four 3-pointers in with an array of floaters and fadeaways inside, Mejia, the 5-foot-5 guard from Medford, went 13-of-22 from the field and collected three steals. She helped the Raiders jump out to a 48-36 lead after one half – during which she and junior forward Ariel Augustine combined for 35 points – and they scored the first 12 of the second to put the game away early.

The Raiders went to 23-2 overall and 15-2 in the Cascade Conference to keep a hold on second place – one game ahead of No. 14 Northwest Christian, which they'll host at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Augustine finished with 18 points, five boards and two steals, and senior point guard Toria Bradford had 12 points and four assists. Bradford also made two of her three attempts from 3, and as a team the Raiders went 10-of-23 downtown. The 44-percent 3-point accuracy was their best in eight weeks.

Along with shooting 47 percent from the field (36-of-77), the Raiders got up 29 more field-goal attempts than the Warriors (12-13, 8-10) by forcing 21 turnovers and grabbing 14 offensive rebounds. Senior forward Nitteayah Barfield picked up three of them and wound up with six points, six boards and three blocked shot.

Each of SOU's last six wins have been decided by at least 20 points. The Raiders swept their regular-season series with Corban for the fourth year in a row.

For the Warriors, Kendra Murphy scored a team-high 12 points off the bench and Maci Bozett dished out eight assists.
