College Place, WASH. The Wolves faced the Eagles in an tough game this afternoon, losing 96-66 to Northwest.
 
The Eagles jumped to a 10-0 lead against Walla Walla this afternoon with a layup from Jasdeep Singh, a three-pointer from Justice Martion and five points from Ryan Ricks. A three-pointer from Dinesh Brown put Walla Walla on the board with sixteen minutes left in the half, and the Eagles had a ten-point lead of 13-3. Michael Isotalo hit a three-pointer with fifteen minutes left, and Tre Benton followed with a layup, 19-6 Northwest. Isotalo had five points for the Wolves with thirteen minutes left in the half, but the Wolves could not match the Eagles pace 22-11.With ten minutes left in the game Alec Calloway and Dylan Browning followed with a jumper, and Walla Walla was down 28-17. The Eagles went on a ten point run until Alec Calloway cut it off with consecutive three-pointers with three minutes left in the first half, 42-25. In the last minute of the game Tre Benton had a layup for the Eagles and Ryan Ricks had a buzzer-beater three-pointer that took the team into halftime up 47-25.
 
Alec Calloway started off the second half for the Wolves with a three-pointer, 47-28. Benton and Martion quickly followed with layups for the Eagles, and Wesley Burke was right behind them with a three-pointer for Walla Walla. Northwest went on a six-point run until a Roy Zavala layup for the Wolves with fifteen minutes left in the game. Alex Smith and Danie Ghebremichael aided the Eagles in an eight-point run, and the team was up 92-61 with three minutes left. Calloway had five consecutive points in the last minute of the game, but the Wolves were unable to dig themselves out and lost 96-66 to the Eagles.  

The Wolves were led by Alec Calloway with 12 points and 5 rebounds, and Dylan Browning with 10 points. The Eagles were led by Ryan Ricks with 20 points, Justice Martion with 19 points and 4 rebounds, and Tre Benton with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
