ROOT SPORTS adds Digital Platform Option to CCC Championships Broadcasts

LA GRANDE, Ore. – When the Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s and men’s basketball tournament championship games are carried live on ROOT SPORTS fans will be able to also access the broadcast via the new ROOT SPORTS digital platform.
 
ROOT SPORTS offers a stream of their channel on both an app and web platform. Games will be available to those viewers who reside in WA, OR, ID, AK or MT, subscribe to a cable or satellite company which carries ROOT SPORTS and whose provider has agreed to allow their customers access to the streaming service. “We are very pleased that ROOT SPORTS is providing even more options for fans to view our basketball championship games,” stated Commissioner Rob Cashell. “The addition of the digital platform fits right into our desire to expose the CCC and our member institutions to a wide audience."
 
Fans can also use the Channel Finder at rootsports.com for specific channel numbers in their area. ROOT SPORTS is available on cable, as well as, satellite channels throughout the five states of OR., WA., ID., MT., and AK.
 
On Monday February 26 the women’s championship game will air at 7 p.m. PST and then on Tuesday February 27 the men’s championship game will air also at 7 p.m. PST. Rush Media will be producing the contests for the CCC.

The top eight teams based on regular season standings will advance to the tournament with quarterfinals, semis, and the finals being held at campus sites. Highest remaining seeds earn the right to host each round.
 
The CCC receives two automatic bids to the NAIA National Tournaments that will be held March 7-13. The winner of the regular season title, as well as, the tournament champions each will earn the conference bids. The 2018 women’s NAIA championships are in Sioux City, Iowa while the 2018 men’s NAIA championships will be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
