CALDWELL, Idaho – Sophia Jackson led all scorers with a career-high 18 points, as the College of Idaho completed a regular-season sweep of rival Oregon Tech, blasting the Owls, 67-43, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The win for the Lady Yotes (11-15, 11-9 CCC) capped a close of the Cascade Conference schedule where the squad won 10 of their final 13 games to secure the No. 5 seed into next week's CCC Tournament. Awaiting C of I is a rematch with OIT – with the teams meeting Tuesday night in Klamath Falls at 7 p.m. (PT)

C of I never trailed in the victory, sprinting to a 12-2 lead in the opening five minutes – with Jackson adding a 3-point play and a 3-pointer to cap the frame, as the hosts led 18-7 through the first quarter.

Tech (19-11, 12-8) cut the margin to 24-17 on a Mikaela Schumaker 3-point play, but Madison Holly countered with a long triple, as the Yotes led 31-20 at the break.

After OIT got within 33-26 early in the third quarter on a Nohea Waiwaiole jumper, C of I put the game away, as Jackson had a big 3-point play in an 8-1 run to extend the lead to 41-27 – with the Yotes rattling off 13-straight points in the fourth quarter to the delight of a large home crowd.

Jocelyn Cook-Cox scored 16 points, making 14-of-16 free throws on the night – as the Yotes draining 24-of-28 from the stripe.  Lindy Westendorf added her second double-double of the year, scoring 12 points with 10 rebounds.

Megan Morris was the lone OIT player in double figures with 11 points, as the Owls made just 29-percent of their field goals and just 1-of-13 shots from long range.
