LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon women's basketball team beat Northwest 97-63 to get its 16th win in a row on Friday. The Mounties are now 15-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play as they get ready to face Evergreen on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The nation's No. 1 three-point shooting team put on an offensive show once again, scoring 97 points. The Blue and Gold (22-2, 15-0 CCC) shot 16-for-39 (41%) from behind the arc and had four players in scoring double-digits. Junior guard Maya Ah You-Dias led the team with 23 points. Senior guard Payton Parrish scored 21 and grabbed 11 rebounds while junior guard Maren Herrud dropped 12. Senior forward Mariah Swanson and senior guard Reece Bauer were the other Mounties scoring double digits as they had 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Mounties started hot and never went cold as they grabbed a 10-point lead 3 minutes into the game, and increasing it up to 40 in the fourth.

The Mountaineers ended the first half with a 55-34 lead, but this big lead didn't seem to faze them as they stayed committed to their game plan and extended the lead with the start of the second half. They outscored Northwest (7-16, 4-10 CCC) 24-13 in the third and 18-16 in the fourth.

The Blue and Gold will face Evergreen Saturday, Feb. 3 at 5:30 p.m at Quinn Coliseum.
