KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-
Kiahna Brown (pictured) hit three home runs and No.24 Oregon Tech (22-7, 11-3 CCC) got great starting pitching as they swept a Cascade Conference doubleheader from Northwest Christian (5-25, 2-12 CCC) 2-0 in game 1 and 9-2 in game 2 Friday afternoon at the OIT Softball Complex.

Sarah Abramson struck out 13 on the way to a six hit shutout and Brown hit two solo home runs, her 5
th and 6
th of the year, to lead No. 24 Oregon Tech past Northwest Christian 2-0 in game 1.
Abramson improved to 8-2 on the year as she pitched all 7-innings, spreading out 6-hits in picking up the shutout win.
Jessica Garner had 3-hits and Tara Kucera had 2-hits for the Beacons in the game 1 loss.
Brown led the OIT offense going three-for-three.
Game 2 Oregon Tech 9 Northwest Christian 2
Kiahna Brown hit her 3rd home run of the day, and 7
th of the season and the Owls got great starting pitching from
Loryn Williams as they won 9-2.
Tech scored four runs in the first inning on 3-hits highlighted by a
Baylee Wyscaver two-run double.
The Owls tacked-on four more runs in the second inning on 2-hits highlight by Brown's third dinger of the day as OIT took a commanding 8-0 lead.
Williams had a perfect game with two-outs in the top of the 4
th before she gave up a walk to Alyssa Gayle and then a two-run homer to Emma Jegtvig, her first home run of the year.
Tech added a run in the bottom of the fourth as
Ali Graham blasted her second homer of the season over the left field fence putting OIT up 9-2.
Williams improved to 3-1 on the year finishing with five strikeouts in her six innings of work.
Brown, Graham and
Sahalie Doe led OIT with two-hits each in the win.
Jegtvig led the Beacons with two-hits in the game.
The two teams will finish up their four game season series with a doubleheader Saturday at OIT beginning at 11:00 am.
