Winter Learfield Cup Standings Released
NAIA Complete Standings NAIA Conference Standings
CLEVELAND – Lindsey Wilson leads in the first set of the NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup winter standings with 565.50 points. The Blue Raiders tallied a fourth place in women’s swimming and diving, fifth place finish in wrestling, 11
th place in both men’s swimming & diving and indoor track & field and 23
rd in women’s indoor track and field.
The Cascade Conference has eight institutions represented including; The College of Idaho (6), Southern Oregon (8), Eastern Oregon (12), Northwest (30), Oregon Tech (39), Corban (51), Northwest Christian (100) and Warner Pacific (148).
In second place with 440.00 points is
Wayland Baptist. The Broncos captured both the men’s and women’s indoor track and field titles.
Columbia (MO) holds the third place position with 409.00 total points. After finishing first in the final fall standings, the Cougars finished 14
th and 32
nd in women’s and men’s indoor track and field, respectively.
Olivet Nazarene occupies the fourth spot with 407.75 total points, tallying its highest finish in women’s swimming and diving, runner-up. The Eagles also finished third in the men’s swimming and diving championship, 13
th in women’s indoor track and field and 15
th in men’s indoor track and field. Olivet Nazarene jumped from 34
th place in the final fall standings.
Northwestern (IA) rounds out the top five with 403.50 points. The Tigers finished sixth women’s indoor track and field, 24
th in wrestling and 29
th in men’s indoor track and field.
The Cascade (College of Idaho, Southern Oregon), Great Plains (Northwestern (IA), Morningside) and Sooner (Wayland Baptist, Oklahoma City) Conferences lead all NAIA conferences in the top 10 with two institutions each.
The final NAIA winter standings will be released Thursday, March 22.
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
