College Place, Wash. – Walla Walla University (WWU) Women's Volleyball Coach Scott Schafer has completed his roster by announcing the signing of five student athletes to the Cascade Collegiate Conference for the upcoming 2018 volleyball season. Schafer is thrilled about the newcomers. "I am excited with the athleticism and skill level of this class of recruits," said Schafer. "As we continue to build our program, the future is bright."
Emilee Clark, of Priest River, Idaho. Clark graduated from Priest River Lamanna High School and will be a freshmen at WWU. She was named to the Intermountain League (IML) All League Team her junior and senior year. Additionally, she served as captain her senior year and was named team MVP her sophomore, junior, and senior year.
Clark plans on pursuing a degree in Accounting during her time at WWU and eventually wants to travel the world.
Nyegai Koun, of Bismarck, N.D. Koun graduated from Dakota Adventist Academy and will be a freshman at WWU. She is 5'10" and will play middle blocker for the Wolves this season.
Camille Rice, of Placerville, Calif. Rice graduated from El Dorado Adventist (EAS) and will be a freshman at WWU. She was named Co-MVP of the 2nd team for the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League (SMAL). Additionally, she received the EAS Sportsmanship Scholarship.
Rice will pursue a degree in Product and Industrial Design during her time at WWU.
Camiryn Rice, of Placerville, Calif. Rice graduated from El Dorado Adventist and will be a freshman at WWU. She was named Co-MVP of the 1st team for the SMAL. Additionally, she received the Norton Sportsmanship Scholarship.
Rice plans to pursue a degree in Nursing during her time at WWU.
Ariel Sandau, of Waitsburg, Wash. Sandau graduated from Waitsburg High School and will be a freshman at WWU. She is 5'7" and will play setter for the Wolves this season.
