MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – The No. 4 ranked Oregon Tech women's cross country team opened the 2018 season with a perfect score to capture the Linfield Harrier Classic title while the No. 10 ranked Oregon Tech men finished 3
rd Friday at Joe Dancer Park.

Jack Kegg said, "We really had a good day. Our Freshman class showed some real potential but we still have some work to do."
The OIT Women finished 1
st through 5
th in team scoring led by seniors Susie Garza (15:10) and Cindy Reed (15:23). Two Tech freshman then finished 3
rd and 4
th with Andie Kolasinski finishing in a time of (15:38.5) and Faith Widman in a time of (15:38.8). Rounding out the perfect score in fifth place was Senior Danielle De Castro in a time of (15:43).
The Oregon Tech men finished 3
rd with 59 points behind Western Oregon in 2
nd place (41 points) and George Fox 1
st with 27 points. Tech was led by Freshman Nicholas McMillen (7
th) with a time of 20.21, Paul Wyatt (8
th) 20.24, Ricky Garcia (11
th) 20.42 and Chris Ramirez (14
th) 21.00.
Up Next: Oregon Tech Cross Country will head to the Humboldt Invite at Patrick's Point State Park in Arcata, California on Saturday, September 8.
