KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Neither Oregon Tech (4-1-2, 1-0-1 CCC) or Rocky Mountain could find the back of the net Saturday as the teams played to a 0-0 draw after 110 minutes of play at the OIT Soccer Field.
Rocky had a slight 16 to 13 shot advantage over the Owls and the Battlin' Bears managed a five to four advantage in shots on goal.
"I couldn't ask more from our team," said OIT Head Coach
Brandon Porter. "We limited a great team to very few dangerous chances and also created great looks for ourselves. It was a very entertaining battle between two quality teams and while we are disappointed with the draw, I think it was a fair result."
Cassidy Gosvener and Emily Hillestad led the Owls' offence with three shots each in the game.
Tech Keeper Jenna Stiehr had 5 saves in between the pipes in picking-up her third straight shutout.
Up next for the Lady Owls will be a trip to La Grande, Oregon for a match-up against Eastern Oregon next Sunday and 3:30 pm.
