CI's Djonovic Named National Setter of the Week — No. 3 (Sept. 18)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lauryn Hilger of Northwestern (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Valorie Flick of Saint Francis (Ind.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Marija Djonovic of College of Idaho has been named the NAIA National Volleyball Setter of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The trio was selected based on their performances from Sept. 10-16 and were chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.
Setter of the Week
Marija Djonovic, College of Idaho

- Djonovic surpassed the 2,000 career-assist mark this week. The setter recorded a double-double (55 assists, 14 digs) against Northwest (Wash.).

- Flick helped her team to a 4-0 week. The Libero posted a Crossroads League high this season with 40 digs against Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio). With the weeks wins, the Cougars posted a school-record 15 consecutive wins.
