Multnomah scored three goals in a five-minute span of the second half to pull out a stunning 3-2 Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer win over the Evergreen Geoducks on Saturday afternoon at Geoduck Pitch.

The Geoducks (4-2-1 overall, 1-2-1 CCC) seemed to be well in control of the match after getting a pair of first half goals from Emilio Meraz-Rodriguez and Andy Zisette. Meraz-Rodriguez scored his second of the season at 4:14 with the assist going to Mitchell Balmer, while Zisette notched his first in an Evergreen jersey, finishing a cross by K'Gnausa Yodkerepauprai with the outside of his right foot at 37:05.

Evergreen's early dominance changed about eight minutes into the second period when the visiting Lions (3-4-0, 1-2-0) turned the momentum in literally a couple of minutes.

Matthew Dorn got Multnomah on the board first, finding space in the middle of the box and hitting the back of the net following a cross by Victor Lujan. The goal came at 52:45, and a little more than three minutes later the visitors tied the score through Kelvin Perez, who finished from Noe Favila's assist.

The match-winning goal came on a deflection. Moises Mejia lined up a long range shot and the ball ricocheted off of an Evergreen defender, leaving Geoducks keeper Ben Stevenson sprawling but unable to get to the ball.

Multnomah ended up with a 15-11 advantage in shots, while the Geoducks had four corner kicks to three for the Lions. Multnomah keeper Manuel Guillermo finished with one save and Stevenson ended up with two.

Evergreen returns to action next Saturday when it plays Northwest University in Kirkland.
