Eagles Roar Past the Multnomah Lions

Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (3-6-0, 2-1-0 CCC) controlled Multnomah University (0-4-0, 0-2-0 CCC) throughout the match, winning 9-0.
 
The Eagles got the ball rolling in the 8th minute with a goal from Whitney Weaver. Ten different Northwest players scored or assisted for the team, including a hat trick and two assists from Katie Michkiosky. Nadine Huff scored her first goal of the season in the 31st minute, and put another one in the back of the net 11 minutes later.
 
The Eagles controlled the ball the entire match, putting up 25 shots with 16 on goal. Their defense was effective too, as they forced the Lions into a game with no shot attempts.
 
Northwest head coach Bryan Chud explained, “We started slow today, but the girls worked hard, and we finished our opportunities well and overall defended as a unit. I’m pleased with the result and we’re looking forward to Warner Pacific tomorrow!”
