KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Levan Zhividze notched the golden goal in the first minute of overtime to lift No. 18 Corban University (8-1-0, 5-0-0 CCC) past Oregon Tech (3-5-1, 2-3-0 CCC) 1-0 in Cascade Conference play at the OIT Soccer Field Saturday afternoon.

"It is tough to play so well and not walk away with any result," said Oregon Tech Head Coach Matt Munhall. "We were the better team for stretches of the game and we have proven that we can play with any opponent in the CCC. Unfortunately, this game is about moments and making the most of them. Today we missed out on our moments to put the game away. It was a tremendous effort to play a nationally ranked team and take them into overtime. We will look for a response in tomorrow's matchup against NCU."

Oregon Tech had a big 8-5 advantage in shots in the first half, but it was Corban who came the closest to scoring as the Warriors had a scoring play nullified the final 30-seconds thanks to a foul.

Corban held a 6-5 edge in shots in the second half and the only shot in overtime as Zhividze scored in the bottom right corner of the OIT goal from inside the box off quick chip from Travez Whyte for the game winning golden goal exactly one minute into overtime.

Up Next, Oregon Tech will host Northwest Christian at 1:30 pm Sunday at the OIT Soccer Field while No. 18 Corban travels to Ashland, Oregon for match-up with Southern Oregon also at 1:30 pm. SOU downed NCU 2-0 Saturday in Ashland.
