KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –  Corban University outlasted Oregon Tech Friday night in front of a large boisterous crowd at Danny Miles Court, (26-24, 25-21, 21-25, 25-16) 3-1 in Cascade Conference play. Corban improves to 10-7 on the year and 6-2 in the CCC with the Owls slipping to 4-6 in CCC play and 9-8 overall.
 
Head Coach Andrew Clifton on tonight's game, "We found ourselves in tough situations all night and did our best to fight back. I was proud of how we climbed back into the 3rd game to give ourselves a chance, but came up short. Corban's right sides hit well and we didn't stop them. We will try and build on what we did right tomorrow night."
 
Neither team hit the ball well tonight with Corban hitting at .138% and Oregon Tech at .135% with the Warriors holding a dominant 58-38 advantage in total kills.
 
Chase Bohman led all players with a game high 15 kills to lead the Owls with Camryn Johnson tallying 14 kills. Corban was led by Cassie Cunningham with 12 kills while Regan Murray, and Adriana Aguayo added 11 kills in the win.
 
Tech held a nice 17-11 advantage in blocks led by Amanda Edwards (7), and Faith Houck-Wylie (6). The Warriors were led by Demi Winters (7), and Avari Ridgway (4)
 
Bohman led the defensive effort for OIT as well with a game high 18 digs with Lindsey Sampson and Bailey Nelson adding 10 and 9 respectively in the loss.
 
UP Next: The Owls will look to rebound as they host Northwest Christian (6-9, 1-7 CCC) Saturday at 5:30 pm at Danny Miles Court.
