Vitale-Sullivan Dominates D-I Runners, Wins CSI Classic
TWIN FALLS, Idaho – A dominating performance by All-American Molly Vitale-Sullivan against a deep NCAA Division I field netted the junior her second career meet victory, leading the College of Idaho to a third-place finish at the CSI Cross Country Classic at Canyon Springs Golf Course.

Vitale-Sullivan worked in a pack with Utah's Scarlet Dale and Weber State's Lexie Thompson throughout the 5,000-meter race, but broke away over the final half mile to win in a time of 18:37 – eight seconds clear of Dale and 18 seconds ahead of Thompson.
As a team, the Lady Yotes placed third overall with 99 team points – behind No. 6 ranked Utah (28) and No. 11 ranked Weber State (38) – but well ahead of Northwest Nazarene (106), host College of Southern Idaho (106) and Eastern Oregon (172).
Kaitlyn Schut was the fifth non-Division I finisher, placing 19th overall (20:24), with true freshman Larissa Mauer right behind her in 20th-place (20:38.26).
Chaye Uptmor took 31st (21:35) and Tamika Russell placed 32nd (21:35) to cap the C of I scoring runners.
The Lady Yotes are off for two weeks in preparation for the Eastern Oregon Open in La Grande.
