The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period January 20-27.
Men’s Wrestling
Menlo’s Terrill Sidner has been named the Red Lion men’s Wrestler of the Week.
Sidner has been one of the true standouts for Menlo wrestling this year, once again winning a tournament in the 149 bracket this week. Sidner swept his four matches en route to the championship at the California Collegiate Open, downing competitors from NCAA institutions such as California Baptist, Fresno State, and Oregon State. For his efforts, he claimed Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament honors for the second time this year, moving his 2018-19 record to a perfect 17-0.

Men’s Basketball
Seth Erickson of Oregon Tech has been chosen as the Red Lion men’s basketball Player of the Week.
Erickson, a junior guard out of Salem, Ore., was an integral part of the No. 12-ranked Owls’ 2-0 week, averaging 18 points and five rebounds between the two contests. In the squad’s victory over Warner Pacific, Erickson dropped 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting, while also going 5-for-10 from three-point range. He shot at an impressive 59.1% clip during the week, while draining six triples in 13 total attempts.

Women’s Basketball
Abby Kreiser of Oregon Tech has been named the Red Lion women’s basketball Player of the Week.
Oregon Tech sweeps this week’s basketball Player of the Week awards, with Kreiser’s big week helping the Lady Owls earn a pair of CCC victories over Oregon rivals Warner Pacific and Multnomah. Kreiser poured in a total of 33 points in the two contests, averaging 16.5 a game to go alongside an average of four rebounds and four assists. The sophomore guard shot at an impressive 50% mark from the floor, while also going 5-of-11 from beyond the arc.

Men’s Indoor Track
TJ Randle of Northwest has been chosen as the Red Lion men’s indoor track Athlete of the Week.
Randle, a junior out of Tacoma, Wash., delivered a strong performance at the University of Washington Invitational on Saturday, finishing with a 50.46 second mark in the 400 meters. Randle continues to improve in the early-going of the indoor track season, with his most recent performance landing him a second-place finish in his heat, respectively, and a 25th-place finish overall in the event.
