Semifinals for Sixth Annual CCC Mascot Challenge Begin Tomorrow
LA GRANDE, Ore. – Only four mascots remain in the sixth annual Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Mascot Challenge. Starting tomorrow, the icons of Eastern Oregon, College of Idaho, Corban, and Oregon Tech will go head-to-head in semifinal matchups to determine who will compete in this year’s championship.
Garnering the highest total vote count, and earning the No. 1 seed for the upcoming semifinals, is Eastern Oregon’s Monty the Mountaineer. The College of Idaho Yote came in a close second in total votes, landing at No. 2 in the seeding. Cadmar the Warrior from Corban (No. 3) and defending-champion Hootie the Owl from Oregon Tech (No. 4) round out the final two spots.
Taking place tomorrow and Wednesday, polls featuring the mascot bout of the day will be featured on both the CCC Twitter (@cccsports) and the CCC Instagram (@cascadeconference) story, with the combined total of votes received on both social media platforms determining who will advance to the title battle.
