The office of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Maya Ah You Dias of Eastern Oregon University as the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
EOU’s Ah You Dias Tabbed NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The office of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Maya Ah You Dias of Eastern Oregon University as the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. Ah You Dias joins Multnomah University standout Justin Martin (Two-time NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Player of the Week) as the second CCC representative to garner the honor in the 2018-19 basketball season.

Ah You Dias has been red-hot for the Mountaineers since her return in mid-December, posting two more double-doubles over the week to make it five double-doubles in her first six games. In a pair of victories, the senior guard averaged 25.5 points and 12.5 rebounds while shooting 67.9% from the floor and 66.7% from downtown, helping No. 14 Eastern Oregon win its 12th and 13th-straight games.
The native of Middleton, Idaho has enjoyed an illustrious career as a member of the Mountaineers, with this most recent honor only further padding her impressive résumé in La Grande. Ah You Dias is a three-time All-CCC Selection, the 2014-15 CCC Freshman of the Year, an NAIA All-American, and the reigning CCC Player of the Year.
