The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Oct. 13-19.

Volleyball - Attacker
No. 5-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Cambree Scott was named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week, her second weekly honor of the season after previously earning a Defender of the Week award.

The six-foot sophomore middle from Bend, Ore., Scott hit over .400 in both wins for the Mountaineers, posting 19 kills to just two errors in back-to-back sweeps for EOU. She was extremely efficient in both matches and added five block assists and a solo block over the weekend.

Honorable mention: Taylor Ristvedt, SOU; Hannah Lord, NU

Volleyball - Defender
Northwest Christian University’s Kayla Olson was named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week.

The 5-foot-5 senior libero from Springfield, Ore., had back-to-back 21-dig efforts, leading the Beacons to a pair of critical wins as NCU swept the two teams directly ahead of it in the standings. She also had a perfect weekend in serve receive.

Honorable mention: Kayla Riley, C of I

Volleyball - Setter
Northwest Christian University’s Makenna Northern was named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.

The 5-foot-9 sophomore setter from Brownsville, Ore., Northern's incredible weekend was highlighted by a new NCU record 58 assists against Northwest University, doing so without needing a fifth game. She had 17 assists on 17 Beacon kills in the first set of that match. Her 109 assists over the weekend have moved her into third place on the NCU career list (1334) as a sophomore. Both victories were crucial as they were against the two teams directly ahead of the Beacons in the standings.

Honorable mention: Anna Saelens, NU; Madison Pilon, EOU

Women’s Soccer – Defensive
Oregon Tech’s Amy Morikawa was named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

The 5-foot-7 junior defender from Fullerton, Calif., anchored the Tech defense as she played every minute in the two shutout wins on the road. It helped the Owls remain undefeated in conference play as they grabbed the conference-leading ninth and 10th shutouts on the year.

Honorable Mention: Colbi Stewart, Evergreen; Maia Wetzel, RMC

Women’s Soccer - Offensive
No. 11-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Morgan Farrington was named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this year.

Farrington, a 5-foot-10 junior forward from Meridian, Idaho, scored both goals for the Mountaineers. She scored the golden-goal in the second overtime period, leading EOU to a big road victory over Rocky Mountain College.

Honorable mention: Lauryn Gamache, RMC

Men’s Soccer – Defensive
The Evergreen State College’s Quinn Landrud was named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

The 6-foot-2 senior defender from Auburn, Wash., was huge for Evergreen on defense on Saturday. After the Geoducks home field flooded and the match had to be moved to Capital High School, Quinn stepped up big on defense to be able to clear out the ball before a shot was able to be taken. Not only did he help his team with the win, but he also handed Northwest University its first shutout loss on the season.

Honorable mention: Michael Miller, SOU

Men’s Soccer - Offensive
Rocky Mountain College’s Nolan Sherwood was named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Sherwood, a 5-foot-11 senior forward from Las Vegas, knocked in four goals this weekend in Rocky's pair of wins against Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho.

Honorable mention: Rory Bloy, CC; Adrian Villegas, SOU

Men’s Cross Country – Runner
Walla Walla University’s Spencer Glubay was named the Red Lion Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Glubay, a senior from Nampa, Idaho, had the highest individual finish (second) in program history. He was less than four seconds off first place, finishing with a time of 26:43, which bests his third-place finish in CCC Preview earlier this season and was 46 seconds off his personal best. Glubay helped guide the Wolves’ men's team to its highest (second place) finish in program history.

Honorable mention: Brandon Kelsey, SOU

Women’s Cross Country – Runner
Warner Pacific University’s Amelia Pullen was named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, for the second time this year.

The true freshman from Washougal, Wash., posted her second individual first-place finish with a time of 18 minutes, 23 seconds and a 12-second lead. Pullen took first at the Warner Pacific XC Classic out of 125 runners, from all divisions: NAIA, NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as community colleges and clubs.
