No. 3 Eastern Oregon Defeats Volleyball 3-0
The Evergreen State College volleyball team fell 3-0 (16-25, 19-25, 22-25) Saturday to No. 3 Eastern Oregon at the Costantino Recreation Center.
The Geoducks were led by Sierra Wolff, who had eight kills and 15 assists. Renita Gray, Zoe Shaw and Chloee Hunt all recorded six kills. Leiko Yamauchi led on defense with 23 digs.
EOU was led by Megan Bunn, who had 15 kills and 12 digs for a double-double. Madison Pilon had 35 assist and Kiley McMurtrey led on defense with 17 digs.
The Mountaineers recorded eight serving aces for the match and four total team blocks. EOU hit .224 for the match and best .333 in the first set.
Evergreen hit a .128 for the match and best .182 in the first set.
The Geoducks hit the road for the final three matches of the regular season. Evergreen will play just one match next week in facing Northwest University at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
