KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – In another shutout victory, Oregon Tech (11-2-3, 8-0-2 CCC) took down Warner Pacific (3-10-0, 3-7-0 CCC) 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field, extending their win streak to six. With the weekend sweep, OIT has clinched a spot in the Cascade conference Post season tournament Nov. 12, 13 and 15 in Springfield, Ore.

"Congrats to our ladies," said Head Coach Brandon Porter. "This final home win of 2019 put the exclamation point on a fantastic home record for our 7 seniors. I didn't want to jinx it beforehand, but they haven't lost at home since early 2017. So incredibly happy for them and proud of their accomplishments."

The Lady Owls attacked right out of the gate, with sophomore Amanda Seward taking a cross from senior Salyna Blue to score in the 2nd minute. The single point lead held for the first half as the Knights struggled to get past Tech's defense.

Freshman Nyah Kendall scored the second goal only two minutes into the second half, running from midfield and shooting the ball into the right side. Fellow freshman Maddie Miller added the next goal in the 56th minute, with a header off of a free kick from Blue.

Senior Haley Janky scored the final goal in the 62nd, shooting into the right corner off a cross from freshman Kyra Cambra.

Seven seniors, Salyna Blue, Aimee Bruner, Kylie Cowell, Janky, Taylee Miyamura, Hailey Satyna, and Jenna Stiehr were honored before the game

The Owls ended the game with 15-of-25 total shots on target, with Cowell adding four and Seward, Miller, and Brunner shooting 3-of-3 on target.

Warner struggled against Tech's defense. Goalkeeper Alyssa Guthrie, however, was able to earn 11 saves in the loss.

The Lady Owls will play their final two games of the regular season against Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, and the Evergreen State College in Olympia on Friday at 12:00pm and Saturday at 1:00pm, respectively.
