Portland Ore. - It was a hot night from behind the three point line for the Lions as they hit 30 three's and defeated Northwest Indian College 128-98 on Thursday night. Justin Martin had a great game and lead all scorers with 41 points and dished out 13 assists.

Zach Richardson added 20 points and 7 rebounds for the Lions, while Forrest Smith poured in 15 points of his own.

The Lions (2-1) trailed 0-1 to start the game, but scored in quick bursts to take control of the game and maintained the lead from that moment on. The highlights of the night were thunderous dunks by senior Stephan Zavydovskyy and freshman Jaeden Smith midway through the second half, and Jaeden Smith completed his third game as a Lion with a solid performance of 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Head Coach Curt Bickley had great things to say about his team's success, "Great game by Justin Martin to score and find his teammates all night. The 30 three's were really set up by our point guards. It was a great game to find our rhythm. Northwest Indian College really shot it well too."

The Lions rematch Northwest Indian College tomorrow night at home at 8:00 PM as part of their annual Rose City Classic Tournament.
