KIRKLAND – Oregon Tech kept its unbeaten string intact and claimed the lead in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings with a 4-3 double-overtime win at Northwest Friday.
 
Amanda Seward scored her third game of the contest in the 103rd minute to end the donnybrook.
 
Seward scored with an assist from Nyah Kendall in the 13th minute but Olivia Morris tied the game from long distance in the 19th minute.
 
Seward gave OIT the lead again in the 24th minute and the Hustlin’ Owls took that 2-1 lead to halftime.
 
Hannah Nicholson scored with an assist from Hayli Huhta in the 65th minute to tie the game, but Maddie Miller, using an assist from Kyra Cambra, gave the lead back to OIT 83 seconds later.
 
Morris scored with an assist from Callie Wright in the 74th minute and sent the game to overtime.
 
Seward, using a pass from Haley Janky, got the one on one goal for the win in the second overtime period.
