Under Armour Team of the Week Announced
CORVALLIS, Ore. 
–The College of Idaho men’s and women’s cross-country teams will share the “Under Armour Team of the Week” for November 4-10 the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced Sunday.
The Yote harriers each won the 2019 Cross Country Championships presented by U.S. Bank on Friday at Middlefield Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
The No. 2 ranked men’s team tallied 43 points with individual finishers in the scoring places of 4
th,5
th, 9
th, 10
th, and 15
th.
Cole Campbell and Alex Martin led the Yotes, as Campbell placed fourth (25:27) and Martin fifth (25:28), with Josh Frey a close ninth (25:37) and defending CCC champ, Marcos Cervantes in tenth (25:38). All four were honored on the All-CCC team. Ian Jackson had a solid outing finishing as CI's fifth scoring runner (26:12) – placing 15
th.
The No.4 ranked women’s team claimed their first conference title since 2013.
Erin Moyer finished fourth overall (18:02) and Larissa Mauer placed fifth (18:05) to lead CI. Molly Vitale-Sullivan joining the duo on the All-CCC team with a 12th-place finish (18:22). It is Mauer's second All-CCC honor and Vitale-Sullivan's third, while
Chaye Uptmor placed 18th (18:42) and Lilly Whitehead took 19th (18:46).
Both teams earned the leagues automatic berths to the NAIA National Cross-Country Championships which will be held at Historic Fort Vancouver in Vancouver, Washington on November 22.
