Seeds Set for 2019 CCC Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament, Presented by U.S. Bank

CORVALLIS, Ore. – After winning the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season championship, Oregon Tech grabbed the No. 1 seed for the 2019 CCC Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank.
 
The Owls finished the conference schedule with an undefeated 10-0-2 record to earn the top seed and the first of two automatic qualifiers to the NAIA Championship Tournament.
 
Eastern Oregon University and Rocky Mountain College each finished CCC action with a 9-2-1 mark, but the Mountaineers get the No. 2 seed after beating the Battlin’ Bears 2-1 in double overtime to grab the tiebreaker.
 
Northwest University picked up the No. 4 seed, followed by No. 5-seeded Southern Oregon University. College of Idaho earned the sixth seed, while a tiebreaker determined the last two seeds. Carroll College and Corban University each finished CCC play with a 6-5-1 record, but the Saints took the head-to-head competition with a 1-0 win over the Warriors.
 
The tournament begins Nov. 12 in Springfield, Ore., with the championship game playing out on Nov. 15.
