2019 CCC Volleyball Championship Tournament, Presented by U.S. Bank, Seeds Announced

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2019 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship seeds were set Saturday night after the conclusion of the CCC schedule.
 
Southern Oregon University and Eastern Oregon University share the regular-season title after boasting identical 18-2 conference records. It came down to the fourth tiebreaker to see which team would get the No. 1 seed and hosting rights to the final site.
 
Percentage of total sets won (sets won by total number played) was the ultimate tiebreaker as the Raiders edged out the Mountaineers 81.1% (56/81) to 77.02% (57/74). The pair gets a first-round bye, playing their first matches of the tournament on Nov. 15 at SOU.
 
Corban University picked up the No. 3 seed with a 16-4 conference record. College of Idaho earned itself the fourth seed after boasting a 12-8 CCC mark. The Warriors and Coyotes will host the quarterfinal matchups as the higher seeds.
 
Northwest Christian University and Northwest University also earned berths to the conference tournament as the No. 5 and No. 6 seeds, respectively.

Tuesday, Nov. 12 (Quarterfinals) - Campus sites
Campus sites seeds #3 and #4
Seed #3 Corban vs. Seed # 6 NU - 7 p.m. PST
Seed #4 College of Idaho vs. Seed #5 NCU - 7 p.m. MST

Friday, Nov. 15 (Semifinals) - Hosted at SOU
Seed #2 EOU vs. next highest seed - 3:30 p.m.
Seed #1 SOU vs. highest seed - 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 16 (Championship) - Hosted at SOU
Winners of semifinals - 3 p.m.
