Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period Dec. 8-14.
Women’s Basketball – Player
The Evergreen State College’s Trinity Betoney was named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The 5-foot-8 junior guard from Henderson, Nev., recorded a school record 11 steals in the Geoducks’ game at Puget Sound over the weekend. Betoney also had 14 points, eight rebounds and one assist in the game.
Men’s Basketball – Player
Eastern Oregon University’s Max McCullough was named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The 5-foot-11 junior guard from Post Falls, Idaho, dropped a career-high 41 points in a 127-90 win over Pacific on Saturday. McCullough also had 26 points in a loss to Whitman, shooting 20-for-38 overall and 14-for-24 from three to average 33.5 points per game over the weekend. He also had 13 rebounds and eight assists in the two games.

Men’s Indoor Track and Field – Athlete
Eastern Oregon University's Cody Milmine was named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
The freshman took fifth place overall with a time of 7 seconds flat in the 60-meter dash. Milmine only finished behind four NCAA Division I athletes from Washington State and Boise State. His mark also ranks third all-time at EOU. In the 200-meters, Milmine also placed fourth and captured the fourth best time in program history at 22.56 seconds.
Women’s Indoor Track and Field – Athlete
College of Idaho’s Catylynn Duff was named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore from Culver, Ore., crushed the C of I school-record in the weight throw, breaking the mark of four-time CCC champ Hayley Morse. Duff’s mark of 53-5 easily met the NAIA "A" standard and she also recorded a PR in the shot put with a fifth-place finish (39-5).
Men’s Wrestling – Wrestler
Eastern Oregon University’s Keegan Mulhill was named the Red Lion Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
The 19
th-ranked 174-pound wrestler from Bozeman, Mont., went 4-0 on the weekend in duals for the Mountaineers, including two wins against top-20 opponents. Mulhill won 12-6 over No. 17 Chase Short of MSUN and followed up with a 6-0 win over No. 11 Coleman Bryant in the 174-pound weight class.
