No. 17 Southern Oregon Defeats Evergreen
Seventeenth ranked Southern Oregon came out to tie the game early and then take the lead and never gave it back defeating the Evergreen State College men's basketball team 71-54 at home on Saturday.
Evergreen was led by LaBrandon Price, who had 13 points and Gloire Biongo added nine. Desmond Hudson led on the rebounds with nine.
Southern Oregon was led by Tate Hoffman, who had 14 points and Teron Bradford, Aaron Borich and Tez Allen all recorded 10 points.
Evergreen scored the first points of the game but SOU came right back to tie the game up and the take the lead. The Raiders had their largest lead of 29 in the second half with 7:36 left to play.
SOU shot 42.9 percent from the floor to ESC 36.8 percent. The game had a total of 42 turnovers and Evergreen had nine steals.
