KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Juli King of Union (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Softball Player of the Week and Gabby Sandoval of Southern Oregon has been named the NAIA National Softball Pitcher of the Week, the National office announced Tuesday.

Softball Player of the Week 
Juli King of Union (Ky.) 
5-6, SR, SS, Gallatin, Tenn.

King helped Union to win a program-record 11 games in a row. She nationally ranked No. 2 in hits (43) and No. 6 in runs scored (30)

  • Weekly Stats
    • Batted .684. Scoring 11 runs with one home run, 6 RBI and 4 extra base hits
    • Had slugging percentage of 1.105
    • Stole four bases on the week
    • Helped her team go 6-0 in the last week

Softball Pitcher of the Week 
Gabby Sandoval of Southern Oregon
5-4, JR, P, Anaheim, Calif.

Sandoval has not allowed an earned run in five of six conference starts.
