CLEVELAND – Oklahoma City moves into first in the latest NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings.
 
Oklahoma City captures the lead from Lindsey Wilson with impressive performances in competitive cheer and dance. The OCU Stars finished as runner-up in competitive cheer and followed that with a fifth-place performance in dance to capture the lead with 574.25 total points heading into the final weekend of NAIA winter championships. Lindsey Wilson with 513.00 total points, holds on to second despite not competing in the latest round of championships.

Representing the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) in the latest release include; The College of Idaho-4th, Southern Oregon-8th, Eastern Oregon-11th, Oregon Tech-16th, Corban-59th, Northwest Christian-83rd, and Northwest-90th.

Morningside moves into the top-five with 511.00 total points led by two top-five finishes (4th – dance and 5th – DII men’s basketball) and a 17th-place showing in DII women’s basketball. The College of Idaho remains fourth overall with 484.00 total points following a third-place finish from the men’s basketball (DII) team. Indiana Wesleyan moves back into the top-five with 477.00 total points, led by two top-10 performances from the men’s and women’s (DII) basketball teams – men: 5th, women: 9th – and an 11th-place showing in competitive cheer.

There is a four-way tie at the conference level as the Cascade, Great Plains, Mid-South and Wolverine-Hoosier all have two institutions among the top-10.
 
The next release for NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup standings will be next Thursday, March 28, following the completion of the NAIA Division I Basketball championships.
 
Please note the name change to the Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup following the merger between Learfield and IMG College.
 
The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
