Under Armour Team of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore. –The Lewis-Clark State College baseball team has been named the “Under Armour Team of the Week” for April 22-28 the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced Sunday.
After a dominating weekend performance in which the Lewiston, Idaho squad took three of four games from Oregon Tech, The Warriors wrapped up the NAIA West Regular Season Championship. LC defeated the Owls 23-3, 11-8 and 12-7. Tech managed one victory in the series winning 12-10.
The championship marks the eight straight NAIA West title for the Warriors dating back to the 2012 season.
Lewis-Clark State (34-13-1 overall, 24-8 NAIA West) will await the completion of the NAIA baseball opening rounds and will host the NAIA World Series May 24-31.
