Women’s Outdoor Field

Dodd accounted for 34 points for the Mountaineers at this weekend’s meet, first winning the heptathlon title at the CCC Multi-Event Championships a few weeks prior. She then proceeded to take third in the long jump and high jump at this weekend’s championships, good enough for All-Conference plaudits in both. In addition, the junior from Burbank, Wash. placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and helped the 4x400-meter relay team take first to end the meet. She has qualified for nationals in four events, including the heptathlon, high jump, 100-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x400 team.

Chris Rosero of Southern Oregon has been chosen as the Red Lion men’s outdoor track Athlete of the Week.

He was named the CCC Men’s Track Athlete of the Meet after sweeping the 100 meters (10.69 seconds) and 200 meters (21.73 seconds), hitting the NAIA ‘B’ standard in the former.
