Men’s Soccer Falls To Whitworth In OT
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Evergreen State College men’s soccer team fell to Division III Whitworth 1-0 in overtime Friday afternoon.
In the 91st minute, Whitworth’s Chase Reidt scored the game-winning goal with the assists from Lincoln Oishi.
Evergreen recorded 14 shots for the game with seven on goal. The Pirates recorded 20 shorts with seven on goal.
Hunter Bowman was back in the net for the Geoducks and recorded six saves.
Evergreen is back in action on Thursday, Aug. 29th at 4 p.m. in an exhibition game against Whatcom CC. The Geoducks will then see Western Washington at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31st. Both games will be played in Bellingham, Wash.
