No. 6 UBC Sits in First After Two Rounds of MU Invite
DAY 1 RESULTS
WOODBURN, Ore. – After the first day of the Multnomah University Fall Invitational, No. 6-ranked British Columbia leads the eight-team field.
At the end of day one, the team scores are as follows: UBC (577), No. 22 Oregon Tech (604), Northwest Christian University - Blue (609), Corban University (610), Multnomah (620), Northwest Christian University – Gold (623), Walla Walla University (631), and College of Idaho (663).
Individually, Malcom Glumpak from British Columbia sits atop all scorers with 141 (-3 under par). Tied for second and following closely behind him are UBC's Ethan Degraf and OIT's Mayson Tibbs, each with a scores of 143 (-1 under par). British Columbia owns five of the top-10 positions on the leaderboard.
NCU had an exceptional first day as well, posting two players in the top-10 standings. In fourth place sits Drew Shwarz, who shot 74 in round one and 71 in round two for a total of 145 (+1 over par), while his teammate Liam Bedform is currently tied for 10th place and shot 75 in both rounds for a score of 150 (+6 over par).
Corban’s Marcus Frazier had an excellent day and shot 149 (+5 over par) and is tied for fifth while his teammate Kasey Crossland shot 150 (+6 over par) and is tied for 10th place. The pair of Warriors look to continue climbing in the standings on Tuesday.
MU played well in the first day of the invite, having two players positioned in the top-10. Chase Snodgrass is tied for the fifth spot with a score of 149 (+5 over par), and Jacob Larson tied for 10th with a score of 150 (+6 over par). As a team Multnomah found themselves in great shape finishing the day with a team score of 620.
The final round will be completed on Tuesday at the OGA Golf Course in Woodburn, Ore.
