No. 1 UBC Finishes First in MU Invitational
Women's Final Results
WOODBURN, Ore. – The Multnomah Fall Invitational came to completion Tuesday with top-ranked British Columbia finishing on top on the women’s side. The Thunderbirds shot 603 (+27 over par) and boasted five players in the top-10.
Final team scores: UBC 603 (+27), Oregon Tech (+59), Corban University (+65) and Northwest Christian University (+133).
Payton Canon from Oregon Tech topped her first round score of 75 with a second round score of 72 and shot the lowest score for the tournament with 147 (+3 over par). Following closely behind her was Megan George from Corban and Jue Wen from British Columbia, who both shot 150 (+6 over par) for second.
Corban's Kelly Dunn shot 151 (+7 over par) and finished in fourth place. Kate Johnson (UBC) finished with the fifth-highest score, shooting a 152 (+8 over par). British Columbia had three players tie for sixth as Cecile Kwon, Ester Lee, and Shania Remandaban all shot 153 (+9 over par).
