KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech dominated play and held a 17-8 advantage in shots and a 7-5 edge in shots on goal on the way to the 3-0 shutout victory over Carroll College Saturday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field. The Owls improve to 5-2-2 on the year and 2-0-1 in Cascade Conference play with the Saints slipping to 1-3 in CCC play and 4-4-1 overall.
 
Senior Haley Janky got the Owls going as she took a Salyna Blue pass and chipped the ball over the keepers head in the 37th minute to give the Owls the 1-0 lead on her fifth goal of the year.
 
Freshman Nyah Kendall scored her sixth goal of the year in the 51st minute taking another perfect pass from Blue, and scored in the bottom right corner to give the Owls the 2-0 lead. For Blue, it was her third and fourth assists of the weekend giving her a cascade Conference best seven on the year.
 
Sophomore Amanda Seward put the game away with her third goal of the weekend, this time taking a free ball and scoring from 25 yards out to give the Owls the 3-0 win.
 
For Tech Keeper Jenna Stiehr and the Oregon Tech defense, it was there fifth shutout in the last six games.  
 
The Lady Owls will next travel to Billings, Montana for a game on October 4 at Rocky Mountain College.
