Men’s Soccer Falls To Rocky Mountain After Early Goal
Fifty-eight seconds into the match Rocky Mountain scored the only goal and The Evergreen State College men's soccer team fell 1-0 on the Geoduck Pitch.
Milo Downey scored the only goal of the game with the assist from Nolan Sherwood.
Evergreen had a chance to score at 50:23 after Joe DiCarlo took a penalty kick but that kick was saved by Kristofer Wennin, who had two saves for the match.
The Geoducks recorded 10 shots for the game with two on goal. The Battlin' Bears recorded 10 shots for the game with seven on goal.
Hunter Bowman was back in the net for Evergreen and recorded six saves.
Evergreen is back in action on Friday at 1 p.m. on the Geoduck Pitch to see Northwest Christian.
