Eugene, Ore. | Warner Pacific fell to Northwest Christian 81-96 on Friday night. Samantha Morgan and Courtney Jackson led the way for the Knights with 16 points a piece.

The Knights continue to be stellar from the stripe, shooting 88% and going 22-25. Celeste Pantoja was 6-6 from the line on the night.

After a quick Beacon start and very slow 8-point first quarter for the Knights, the team found an offense, managing to score 73 points in the remaining three quarters. Coming out of the break, the Knights started with some momentum as Gabriella Bruno converted an old-fashioned three-point play to contribute to her 13 points for Warner Pac.

The fourth quarter was Warner Pacific's most offensively savvy quarter as the team outscored NCU 28-22, and Senior Captain Darbi Pink scored all seven of her points in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Warner Pac shared the ball well, dishing out 17 assists on 27 field goals. Darbi Pink and Payton Whitmore each handed out three while Samantha Morgan had three steals.

The Beacons had five players in double digits led by Sarah Reineker with a game-high 19.

The Knights will head to neighboring school Corban University on Saturday night, looking to disrupts the Warriors' winning streak. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.
