ASHLAND – Forty-eight hours after an emotional comeback win against its rival, the 15th-ranked Southern Oregon men's basketball team enjoyed a clean, drama-free night with a 101-73 rout of Corban on Friday at Lithia Motors Pavilion.

The Raiders (14-4 overall, 8-2 Cascade Conference) won their sixth in a row and ninth in 10 games, hitting the century mark for the fourth time during that stretch as senior forward Tate Hoffman scored 18 points to lead a 52-percent outing from the field.

Hoffman, who shot 7-of-11, was one of five Raiders in double figures. They brought a 48-30 lead into the break and opened the second half on an 18-4 run, setting the pace with an 18-2 advantage in fast-break points.

Jordan Hunt benefited in transition with a few first-half dunks, finishing with 15 points on 7-of-8 accuracy and eight rebounds. Kaj Bansen and Conor Carroll scored 12 apiece, combining for 23 after halftime.

Tez Allen (8 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists), Aaron Borich (10 points, 4 assists) and Teron Bradford (7 points, 6 assists) directed the offense, helping the Raiders record assists on 25 of their 37 buckets while committing just nine turnovers. SOU hit 14 from 3-point range with Bansen accounting for three and three others hitting two apiece.

Bradford also locked up high-scoring Corban guard AJ Hodges, who missed 11 of his last 12 attempts after knocking down his first two.

The Warriors dropped to 9-11 overall and 3-7 in the CCC. Mauricio Smith scored 19 and Isiah Quintreo had 15, both doing their damage off the bench.

SOU took over sole possession of second place in the CCC standings going into Saturday's 7:30 p.m. home game against Northwest Christian.
