PORTLAND, Ore. - The Multnomah University women's basketball (3-13, 0-9 CCC) team had quite the battle with Northwest University (6-13, 4-5 CCC) on Saturday night at Jim Skagen Court, but the Eagles managed to steal away the victory from the Lions in overtime with a score of 77-72.

Erykah Campbell was everything the Lions needed her to be and more, scoring 10 points in the first half and helping the Lions earn a 31-25 lead over the Eagles.

The Lions continued to rely on their posts for their scoring, and Rachelle Tau banked in a much needed two point basket with 6:06 left in the fourth quarter giving the Lions a 9 point cushion. Northwest had one last push in them and with baskets by Livi Lindsey, Lexi Biggerstaff, and Sam Vanloo the Eagles would cut the Lions' lead to 66-64 with 3:19 left.

Livi Lindsey came in clutch for the Eagles and scored with 0:51 seconds left tieing the score 68-68.

The Lions made two free throws and led 68-64 before Livi Lindsey knocked down two free throws of her own with 1:31 left in the fourth quarter. Lindsey scored the game-tying basket with 0:51 seconds to go, but both teams struggled to score in their final possessions of regulation.
