Geoducks Fall To Beacon 91-77
OLYMPIA, Wash. – After the game being tied five times and 10 lead changes, Northwest Christian came out and defeated The Evergreen State College 91-77 Saturday night.
The Beacon were led by Ernest Ugoagu, who had 19 points, Logan Davis and Kaden Sand both recorded 15 points, Stevie Schlabach had 13 points and Malik Corey added 12 points. Logan Sand led on the rebounds with seven.
Evergreen was led by a career-high 33 points from LaBrandon Price. Elijah Fuller added 15 points and Mitch Wetmore had 11 points. Desmond Hudson led on the rebounds with eight.
Northwest Christian shot 55.9 percent from the floor to Evergreen’s 48.4 percent. Both teams recorded 13 turnovers and Evergreen had seven steals.
The Geoducks are back in action on the road at Southern Oregon on Friday and Oregon Tech on Saturday. Both games are played at 7:30 p.m.
