CORVALLIS, Ore. – After each team took a share of the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season championship last year, votes were split this year between Eastern Oregon University and Southern Oregon University to see who would take the crown this year.

The Mountaineers slightly edged out the Raiders with seven first-place votes to five to be the preseason favorites. EOU grabbed 137 points in the poll after finishing last year with a 31-5 overall (18-2 CCC) record and made its sixth-straight NAIA National Championship Tournament.

SOU finished the poll with 128 points to sit in second place. The Raiders finished the year ranked No. 9 in the NAIA after ending the season with a 31-5 overall (18-2 CCC) mark. SOU won the CCC Volleyball Tournament Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, and had a 16-match winning streak through the second match of pool play.

Corban University isn't too far behind the Raiders, picking up 121 points to sit in the No. 3 spot. The Warriors also advanced to the NAIA tournament and finished the year at No. 15 in the rankings.

The College of Idaho (102 points) and Bushnell University (98 points) rounded out the top-five spots. Northwest University (95 points), Lewis-Clark State College (82 points), Oregon Tech (55 points), The Evergreen State College (50 points) and Warner Pacific University (36 points) filled in spots six through 10.
