BOISE, Idaho – Boise State forced 23 turnovers on the way to handing The College of Idaho its first loss in 371 days on Friday night, as the Broncos pulled away to win 86-49 at ExtraMile Arena.

The game - which was scheduled less than 24 hours earlier - was a result of two previously slated BSU opponents for Friday being unable to play.

Stepping on the floor for just their second game of the season, the Yotes (1-1) had an uncharacteristic night on the offensive side of the floor, hitting just 19-of-56 shots (34 percent).

The Broncos (2-1) posted 26 points off of turnovers and were 16-of-36 (46 percent) from the field.

At a point in the first half though, it looked like the Yotes were on the verge of making things interesting.

Trailing 28-14 at the 7:04 mark of the first half, C of I rattled off a 7-2 run to bring the visitors within single-digits at nine points. An Ivory Miles-Williams layup and five straight Jalen Galloway points sparked the rally.

BSU responded to the success for the Yotes with authority though, putting up a 10-0 run of their own to go up 19 and never looking back.

Three Broncos finished with double-digit scoring outputs, including Abu Kigab, who led the way with 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor. Max Rice finished with a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Derrick Alston had 14 points and seven boards.

For the Yotes, Ricardo Time was the high-scorer with 17 points, four rebounds and a steal. Time posted a 7-of-12 shooting performance, including hitting 2-of-3 from downtown. Jalen Galloway had a quality night as well, pouring in 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting with a pair of triples.
