Boise, ID | WPU Track and Field sent two triple jumpers over to the Boise State Challenge Indoor track meet and came away with two of the top marks of all-time for the Knights. Brittany Coleman, returning junior All-American, jumped 11.52m(37' 9.5") for 4
th place overall at the meet. The mark was an automatic national qualifying mark for the NAIA Indoor National Meet and the #2 mark in history for WPU. Meanwhile, newcomer Ramontre' Williams, placed third overall in the men's triple jump with a mark of 13.79m (45' 3"), which is the #2 all-time WPU mark.
"It was great to get Brittany and Ramontre' over to Boise State this weekend and get them into a big competition with a large group of high quality athletes. They both jumped very well and assistant coach
Moreland Anderson has really got them on a great progression right now. Brittany is already going to indoor nationals with her mark and hopefully Ramontre' can get one more good shot at an indoor qualifier next weekend at a meet" said Head Coach
Randy Dalzell.
The next indoor meet will be Friday February 21 at University of Washington.
