Walla Walla Falls to Northwest University
College Place, Wash. - The Walla Walla Wolves played against the Northwest Eagles for the first time in their weekend series. The Eagles had a good night, taking the win over the Wolves (43-78).
To start the game, both teams came out playing a fast-paced game. After a slow start, the Eagles started making it from the three, helping them take the lead. The Wolves struggled to get a shot to fall in the offense and making turnovers on defense. The Wolves went into the half down 20 points, 22-42.
To start the second half, the Eagles go on an 8-0 run, making the gap 22-50. The Wolves struggle to get back into the game during the second half. No matter how much the Wolves fought, they could not get back into the game.
To end the game, Northwest was led by Hussayn Ford and Ryan Ricks, both of whom had 19 points to their teams 78. Walla Walla was led by Dylan Browning who had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Wolves and The Eagles will meet again at Windemuth Court Saturday night at 9:30 pm.
